The Sea Search

This is The Sea Search. It is 8 ft by 16 ft carved and painted wood , I made it for the American Renaissance Show in Atlanta ,in connection to the Olympics in 1996. The painting was sold and hung for years in a Resturant in down town Atlanta I got a shipment back from a gallery in Atlanta of returning works and this was in the group.It now hangs in the lobby of the Wynwood Lofts in Miami FL

Inspired after living in South America, in the forest, for a year.

This is a Painting of Fish painted soon after returning from living in South America in the forest for a year, The forest reminded me that Fish live in a similar world .a world with out horizon no up or down here or there , everything is about right around you.

Frank also has other works that are related to the forest. One of them is called “Heart of the Forest” and was created in 1987. It is a mixed media piece on wood that measures 72 x 48 inches 2. The other artwork is called “Passing the Forest” and was created in 2023. It is a watercolor on paper that measures 23 x 31cm.
